Fuzzy indigo dyed sheepskin pouch with solid brass hardware, a heavy duty Riri zipper, and adjustable straps for a relaxed crossbody or shoulder fit. Designed to fit your phone, wallet, and a few small items like balms, jewelry, a pocket knife, etc. This bag was made from an indigo dyed sheepskin dyed by Liv Klingaman (Feral Fibers) with japanese indigo grown in Kentucky by Among the Oaks Herb Farm.

Made from mimosa tanned wooly sheepskin, tanoak bark tanned sheepskin leather, and tanoak bark tanned deerskin leather straps - all tanned and sewn by me.

Approximate measurements: 8.5" w x 7" h. Straps adjustable between 48" and 56". Please let me know if you'd like the strap shortened or more holes added to be worn as a hip bag!

.

This hide is tanned with mimosa (Acacia mearnsii) tannin extract, with additional ingredients used in the process including: salt, citric acid, soap, and distilled vinegar. They are softened with sheep tallow soap, sunflower seed lecithin, and olive oil.

Because the tanning and washing process I use does not involve harsh petroleum-derived solvents, and instead mostly handwork, the wool may contain seeds or small pieces of leaves and other vegetable matter, and it may also retain a faint smell of sheep and bark. Enjoy it! To care for this hide, air it out often. You can handwash with warm water and soap and line dry, or fill your washer and allow to soak. More info on my process, cleaning & care.
